Cigarette Pendant

The combination silver and gold vermeil cigarette design is a true feat of manufacturing process available to only a select few steady-handed craftsman in Rhode Island. The attention to detail can be seen in the crisp sections where gold meets silver, as well as in the finer details of the casting: from the knurled filter at the top, to the organic shapes of the tobacco leaves in the tip.

Description

Our cigarette is hand-made of .925 sterling silver and then carefully plated in 14kt thick gold vermeil by multi-generation craftsmen in Rhode Island. Then, our lettering and middle band are filled with enamel by hand, and wiped clean. Finally, the entire piece is polished by hand to a bright sheen. The end result is a shiny, nostalgic symbol of time's past--from the knurled filter to the flakes of tobacco in the tip.

The cigarette is a symbol to us of a time when people used to connect more in real life with less technology, distractions, and chaos. Our appreciation of the symbol isn't so much a longing nor endorsement of a cigarette, but rather a celebration of everything it represents in the past.

The cigarette will fit most chains up to 4mm in diameter. We recommend our chains to guarantee bail/chain width compatibility.

Care

Store in cool, dry area.

To clean, use microfiber cloth. If particularly dirt, soak in warm water and diluted soap (or the palette jewelry cleanser). Completely dry before storing again.

We recommend keeping jewelry out of chlorine pools and other harsh environments.
